TERMS & CONDITIONS

In all the following conditions, the seller is ECRU Decor BV (henceforth also ECRU, we, us, our) and the buyer (henceforth also you, your) is the individual, sole trader, company or partnership buying from the aforementioned seller.

 

Please read these terms and conditions carefully as by placing an order you will be deemed to have read, understood and agreed to them. Quotations

Prior to the confirmation of an order, ECRU will send a quotation detailing the design (including measurements, fabric choice etc), final price and shipping address. ECRU endeavours to ensure that all details in the quotation are accurate. However you have the ultimate responsibility to make the final check on these details (including measurements) to ensure that they are correct.

Any changes which are made after the order has formally been placed will incur a fee which will be for the account of the buyer.

 

Placing an order

Once you have provided written confirmation that the quotation details are correct and the order can proceed, a final invoice will be raised. An order is considered placed upon receipt of the full payment by ECRU.

Payment terms

Full payment of the total invoice is required before an order is submitted to our atelier enabling the production process to commence. Delay in payment will therefore result in delay of the delivery of the goods to the buyer.

Order cancellations

As ECRU produces only bespoke products (ie made-to-order based on your specifications), we regret to inform you that we cannot accept any order cancellations.

 

Delivery 

The costs of delivery are for the account of the buyer. The delivery costs will be shown separately on the quotation and the final invoice. A timeframe for estimated delivery will be provided upon receipt of full payment. ECRU endeavours to make sure that the goods are received within this timeframe but cannot guarantee to do so. ECRU cannot be held liable for any delays resulting from the carrier responsible for delivery. ECRU cannot accept any responsibility for any loss or damage which occurs once the goods are handed to the carrier that is responsible for delivery.

 

Customs & import duties

You are responsible for any customs duties or import duties levied on purchases once they have reached the specified delivery destination. ECRU has no prior information as to whether these duties are applicable nor the amount to be imposed. Customs policies vary significantly from country-to-country therefore should you wish to have further information in this respect, it is advised that you contact your local customs office. As you are considered the importer, you must comply with all laws and regulations of the country in which the items are due to be delivered.

 

Please note that, in the event of any cross-border delivery being subject to opening and inspection by the local customs authorities, ECRU cannot guarantee that the goods will arrive in the same condition that they were in at dispatch.

 

Returns

As ECRU makes only bespoke products which have been made to your exact specifications, no items can be returned either for replacement or a refund, unless they are identified as faulty (see separate section "Faulty Items" below).

 

Faulty items

At ECRU we pride ourselves on our quality control procedures. At all stages of the bespoke process we undertake rigorous quality control checks to ensure that our products are of the highest standards. In the unlikely event that a fault is identified, please email us at admin@ecrulinen.com with a description of the issue and accompanying photos which clearly indicate the fault. Contact with regard to any faults should be made within 14 days of receipt of the goods.

 

ECRU will respond within 5 working days to confirm whether the item(s) can be returned for replacement. If the buyer receives confirmation from ECRU that the items can be returned, instructions for returns will be provided. These instructions should be followed correctly. ECRU cannot accept any responsibility for the loss of returns. No item will be replaced until we are in receipt of the original.

 

ECRU reserves the right to make changes to these terms and conditions at any time. Any updates will be made immediately public on our website www.ecrulinen.com.
